Fish camps are three days and two nights. For fish camps, we invite some of our Senior Campers from this year back for a few days of fishing and more one on one time with our counselors. We spend the first two days fishing as much as possible while we talk about God, His Word, our struggles, and how we can apply God’s Word to our lives. We keep all of the fish that we can and have a fish fry on the last night! It is a fun, intimate time getting to know one another and growing closer to God!

We will conduct a weekend full-summer staff training on June 2 - 6. This training will help each of us be a better servant as we serve here at SSBC this summer. This training will include information on what is new this year, how to interact with our campers (which is very different from other camps), our gospel-centered focus, and much more! Food and lodging will be provided.

The informational training will take place in the mornings and we will have some work to be done in the afternoons followed by a relaxed time of hanging out, playing games, and getting to know one another before we serve on God’s mission together this summer! We will also provide housing and transportation to Church for anyone who would like to stay all weekend and roll right into the first camp week together! We look forward to seeing you all there!

If you cannot attend the weekend Staff Training, there will be a condensed course on Sunday nights before each camp week beginning at 5:00 in the evening. Everyone needs to attend one of these training sessions.
